March 22, 2019 waves were firing all day in Buxton. I was finally able to make it out early afternoon. The water was warmer then the air. Surfers traveled from all over the coast to try to catch some fun ones. Visit Cape Hatteras National Seashore.

January 5, 2019 I swam for a bit at the lighthouse. I found it challenging to focus my camera through the spray of the wave blowing at me at 25-30 mph winds. I managed to catch a few in focus.
December 22, 2018 another good run of swell on the Outer Banks. I swam against the current for a few hours until surfers near me spotted sharks close by, I figured it was a good time to get out. 🦈😳
