January 5, 2019 I swam for a bit at the lighthouse. I found it challenging to focus my camera through the spray of the wave blowing at me at 25-30 mph winds. I managed to catch a few in focus.
December 22, 2018 another good run of swell on the Outer Banks. I swam against the current for a few hours until surfers near me spotted sharks close by, I figured it was a good time to get out. 🦈😳

November 16, 2018 clean conditions for surfers on the Outer Banks. I swam for a few hours with my camera. Temperatures have fallen to the low 50’s making the water feel warmer then the air. I hope you have a chance to visit Hatteras Island this fall!
