December 10, 2018 Winter Storm Diego is pounding the coast with flooding and beach erosion. One video was taken just south of the Rodanthe Pier around high tide. The other taken in south Avon before just before high tide.

August 5, 2018 I was on Ocracoke Island for a family session. As I was leaving my session the sky was lit up like a wildfire. When you visit Hatteras Island, take a free ferry ride to Ocracoke Island for an evening, the sunsets are pretty amazing there too!
