August 6, 2020 I met the Zigler Family from TX, MI and Ohio at their vacation home in Corolla, North Carolina. After Hurricane Isaias caused a mandatory evacuation of Dare County a few day’s prior to their session, they were staying in Currituck County and were not evacuated and were able to enjoy their entire vacation. Although, the reminisce of the storm lingered causing moody skies for their sunset family portraits.
Their family vacationed to the Outer Banks this summer to celebrate their parents’/grandparent’s 50th wedding anniversary. What an amazing milestone! Traveling to the beach also allowed them to get away from some of the restrictions of quarantine, since being there made it easy to socially distance as a family.
“We come from around the country (Austin, TX…Detroit, MI…and Northwest Ohio) so it was nice to experience what the island life has to offer. It allowed us to escape from daily life, if only for just a few days, and we didn’t even let a hurricane stop us. Hurricane Isaias made for only a little bit of rain and beautiful photos!” ~ explained Jenna. Scroll down for a few frames with t
