Cape Hatteras Family Vacation Portraits, Outer Banks Photographer

June 9, 2020 I met the Lane family from Georgia at the Old Lighthouse Beach in Buxton, North Carolina.

The family is blessed to be able to travel often. They have always heard and read about the Outer Banks but never visited. In complete honest Mr Lane explained; “It was a fluke that we were even there. You see we have always heard about how pretty the water is on the Gulf of Mexico so we planned a trip to Palm Harbor Florida. We decided to stay one night in Cedar Key Florida on our way to Palm Harbor. While in Cedar Key we learned that a tropical storm was predicted to bear down on Palm Harbor for a few days. So we made a quick decision to go north and visit OBX. 900 miles one way! We did stop for night in Fayetteville NC.”

A great decision as they love the OBX. They stayed six nights at KOA Campground in Rodanthe, North Carolina. Their 9 year old twins Eli and Dicey made lots of friends at the KOA which made the trip even more enjoyable. The family said “they are certain that we will be back to OBX soon.” Scroll down for a few magical frames with the Lane family.
