On Mother’s Day 2016, I was lucky enough to photograph Lauren and Michael’s wedding at the Currituck Light Saving Station Beach. The day started off with clear skies and hot sunshine. The wind picked up the clouds rolled in overhead with some beautiful set waves during the ceremony. The Outer Banks skyline always provides a forever changing sublime backdrop.
We then traveled to the Whalehead Club Park on the sound for sunset, in historic Currituck Village. During the formal portraits at the Currituck Lighthouse the goat of the grounds ran out in front of me and photo bombed the bride and groom!! There is never a dull moment on the Outer Banks of North Carolina!
I am speechless as to the amount of dramatic backdrops I encountered during Lauren and Michael’s Wedding Day. I took way to many images and had a hard time narrowing down the ones for their blog!
